OUR STUDENTS

Tenterden Ballet Studios offers many performance opportunities, annual shows and enter children for Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Cecchetti, Tap, Modern and Jazz examinations as well as Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet examinations on a regular basis. After enrollment, pupils are encouraged to attend regularly in order to progress.

We encourage our students to audition for associate programmes, summer schools and workshops to further their knowledge and training. Our students successfully reach high standards within the school with the option of being able to enter the professional industry and audition for full time colleges and schools.

Many pupils have auditioned and been accepted by the English Youth Ballet, appearing in productions of The Nutcracker, Coppelia and Giselle among others. Some of the further training of former pupils includes: the Associate programme of the Royal Ballet School, the Central School of Dance, the Arts Educational School, The Brits School and the Royal Swedish Ballet.

Many of our students have successfully auditioned at full time dance colleges including Performers College, Bird College , Laban, Tring Park, London Studio Centre & London Contemporary Dance School.

Pupils have appeared in local pantomime and West End shows including Whistle Down the Wind and Billy Elliot.
